Amazon had a triple points day with their Kindle Rewards Points beta and well, let’s just say I bought this whole dang series. I mean, after A Kiss of Shadows, I had to read A Caress of Twilight. It’s like a requirement or something.

Merry Gentry’s life changed completely when she returned to the Unseelie court. Her aunt Queen Andais named her as co-heir to the throne. It all depends on who produces an heir first- Merry or her cousin, Prince Cel.

Fortunately, for Merry, since Cel tried to have her killed, Cel is in seclusion for six months. This gives her some time, but the ones Merry can take to her bed are the guards of the Queen.

In A Caress of Twilight, Merry is contacted by someone who has been exiled from the Seelie court. Will Merry be able to help them? Why is the King of the Seelie court trying to get Merry to visit?
Recommendation?
The world-building in this series is fantastic. It takes place in our world, but it’s a world in which the fey and the Sidhe live openly with the humans. Well, as much as they can. The Unseelie court is underground in Illinois. I definitely recommend this book because I’m dying to read the next one right now! But I refused to let myself read the next one until I had this post written!
