My friend Cari read A Killer’s Game back in September for the Hispanic Heritage Month mystery reveal category for the Kindle Challenge. She told me I needed to read it so of course I did.
Daniela Vega is an FBI agent working in New York with the Joint Terrorism Task Force. Recently, she left service as an Army Ranger, honorably discharged. As she was leaving Starbucks one morning, she caught sight of a hit. A man had been jabbed with an umbrella before falling to the street and convulsing. Dani took off after Umbrella Man.
While Umbrella Man manages to escape Dani, she works with her team to find him. And find him, she does.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In A Killer’s Game, Daniela and team turn Umbrella Man into an asset. She goes undercover with him to try to bring down who is behind the murder of the chief of staff for one of the New York senators. But will she survive this assignment?

A Killer’s Game is available on Kindle Unlimited. This book is like Criminal Minds meets Hunger Games. But oh so good! I can’t wait for the second one in this series to come out in March!
