After The War of Two Queens, we go back to Sera and Nyktos’s story in A Light in the Flame. Sera’s plan is now out, which leads everyone in the Shadowlands to distrust her.
Sera found out that her plan would have never worked for several reasons, but mainly because she needs to make Kolis fall in love with her, rather than Nyktos. But will Nyktos let her try?
While Sera and Nyktos sometimes work at cross purposes, the passion between them is flaring bright. I’m talking scorching. Will they be able to resist each other?
In A Light in the Flame, Kolis summons Nyktos and Sera to his court before he will allow Sera to be crowned as Nyktos’s Consort. Will Sera make it through her Culling or her Ascension? What is Nyktos’s plan? Read it and find out.
Recommendation?
I’m not sure how Jennifer Armentrout does it, but she’s built an incredible world and she keeps adding to it. The twists just keep coming. We learn even more about the prophecy in this one. My friend Cari and I have been reading this together and we’ve had to have conversations, trying to break down the prophecy. If you’re a fan of fantasy, you REALLY need to read these! But be aware that the series is not yet complete!
