Back in December, I discovered a Facebook group for Pride & Prejudice Fantasy Variations. I think I found A Witch for Mr Darcy through that group, but I’m not sure. But however I found it, I’m glad that I did.
Elizabeth is not only a Bennet, but she’s a witch who has trained with a wise woman. This causes Mrs. Bennet to keep Elizabeth at a distance. But many in the Meryton area come to Elizabeth for help with sicknesses and she works alongside the local doctor.
Mr. Darcy travels with the Bingleys to Netherfield, but this Mr. Darcy is slightly different. He has visions. In fact, he gets little sleep due to his visions. When his valet finds out about Elizabeth being a witch, Mr Darcy resolves to meet her to find out if she can help him with his visions.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In A Witch for Mr Darcy, someone is hiding in the Longbourn home wood. It leads to Mr Darcy’s visions and Elizabeth’s raven Mr. Od warns them. Who is it? What do they want with the people of Longbourn? Read to find out.
A Witch for Mr Darcy is a relatively low angst fantasy read. It’s perfect for those who want a fantasy variation of the original Pride & Prejudice. I enjoyed this one and this is on Kindle Unlimited.
