Cozy Mystery

Bait and Witch by Angela M Sanders

I have this idea for a subscription box. I’m working out the details, but it would include a cozy mystery and be built around it. So I’m reading lots of cozy mysteries. Next up in my search was Bait and Witch. I was reading to see if it would work for my box that I’m hoping to launch in September and ship in October.

A quote from Bait and Witch by Angela M Sanders

Josie Way is a librarian on the run. She and a fellow co-worker in the Library of Congress overheard a conversation that they shouldn’t have. Now she’s scared so she flees Washington for a small town in Oregon.

When Josie arrives in Wilfred, she discovers that not all is as it seems and that includes her, too. The library’s trustees plan to sell the library so she might have flown all that way for nothing.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In Bait and Witch, Josie goes out for a walk and discovers a dead body. But she doesn’t know if the dead body is related to her and her situation or if someone wanted trouble for the library. And what is going on with how she can match books to people when she’s never heard of the title before? Plus, the book that keeps popping up in odd places. What is actually going on? Read the book and find out.

Recommendation?

This one is available on Kindle Unlimited. I definitely recommend checking it out. I can’t wait until the next book comes out later this month. ETA: When I checked on 1/20/24, it is no longer on Kindle Unlimited.

I’m writing a blog post for every book I read. Yes, I read a lot. But I enjoy reading and want to help you find books to read that you would enjoy.
