The next book in the Morgan Dane series is Bones Don’t Lie. I had to continue with this series as I wanted to know more about Morgan, especially her with Lance.
Morgan Dane is a widowed mother of three girls. While deployed overseas, her husband died. She now works as a defense attorney, which is very different from when she worked as a prosecuting attorney.
Lance Kruger is an ex-cop turned private detective. Now Morgan works with both Lance and his boss, Lincoln Sharp. Morgan and Lance have started a personal relationship, well, as much as you can with three young daughters.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Bones Don’t Lie, when the state police SAR team tested out their new sonar equipment, they uncovered a car at the bottom of Grey Lake. The car belonged to Victor Kruger, Lance’s dad. So what happened? Read it and find out.
Recommendation?
This was the book I’ve been anticipating since I read the first Morgan Dane and found out that Lance’s dad had disappeared. Now we find out what happened to him! Bones Don’t Lie is available on Kindle Unlimited. In fact, you can listen to this one on Kindle Unlimited too! It’s the third in the Morgan Dane series. While this does connect to the Bree Taggert series, you don’t have to read that series first. If you’re a fan of mysteries and thrillers, you want to read this one!
