Romance Variations

Call It Hope by Susan Adriani

Obviously, I continued right on with my Pride and Prejudice variations binge with Call It Hope. (I’m telling you I’m not sure why I went through so many, but luckily most are on Kindle Unlimited.) This one is available on Kindle Unlimited.

This variation starts by leading up to Christmas after Bingley and Jane marry. Darcy does not return with Bingley, leaving Elizabeth heartbroken. Since Bingley and Jane are in the north, visiting Bingley’s family for Christmas, and Lydia and Wickham are STILL at Longbourn, Elizabeth longs to leave. Thus, when Charlotte writes, inviting Eliza to come visit, she says yes.

Darcy is at Rosings with all of his Fitzwilliam family, missing Elizabeth. He deliberately skipped the Bingley wedding because he did not want to see Elizabeth reject him once again.

Recommendation?

Call It Hope is a short novella of only 113 pages. This one is on Kindle Unlimited. I do recommend it, especially for anyone looking for a quick read to finish their reading challenge for the month or year.
