Concealed in Death is the 38th book in the In Death series. This was definitely one I had never read before, although I had bought it back in 2014.
Finally, I’m finishing this series, even though yes, she is still writing books. BUT I’m determined to catch up! Only about 20 more to read.
This time, Roarke starts off the case. He has purchased a building with a plan to rehab it to become a connection to Dochas, but this one is more a refuge for homeless children or runaways.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Concealed in Death, Roarke finds two remains (all that is left are bones) inside a wall that he had started to knock down for the rehab work. He calls in his cop. Upon further search, ten more remains are found. Eve and Peabody must work to discover who put the bodies behind the wall.
Recommendation?
Concealed In Death is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited (I wish!). This book is #38 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. It introduced a new character, Dr. Garnet DeWinter, a forensic anthropologist. I am hoping we’ll see more of her.
