Connections in Death is the 48th book in the In Death series. I’m not sure how J.D. keeps coming up with new cases, but I’ll keep reading them! I’m slowly catching up!
Eve and Roarke attend a housewarming party at Nadine’s. While there, they get a glimpse of Nadine’s Oscar. A new character was introduced- Rochelle Pickering. She came as Crack’s date. But interestingly enough, Roarke plans to hire her for An Didean.
When Rochelle receives her contract for An Didean, she is ecstatic. Her brother worried at first, but then congratulated her. As Rochelle returns from her date with Crack, they discover that her brother was murdered. Crack calls in Dallas.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Connections in Death, Eve discovers that while someone tried to make it look like Lyle Pickering has OD’ed, he was in fact murdered. Now she and Peabody must figure out who did it and why.
Connections In Death is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited (I wish!). This story is #48 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. This is the first time I really remember Eve diving into gangs. So that aspect was interesting. You can tell how much the world in the books has evolved as Eve includes more and more people in her world.
