Courting Trouble by Kerrigan Byrne

Courting Trouble is the second in the Goode Girl series. It picks up almost immediately where Seducing a Stranger left off. This one is also on Kindle Unlimited.

A quote from Courting Trouble by Kerrigan Byrne

Honoria Goode is the eldest daughter of a Baron, who is also a police commissioner. Growing up, she fell in love with the coal boy. Of course, he loved her back. They gave their virtue to one another, but then her father found out.

A quote from Courting Trouble by Kerrigan Byrne

Doctor Titus Conleith was that coal boy that Honoria loved so long ago. After Honoria told him she never wanted to see him again, he hadn’t expected to. But then she ended up on his operating table, shot by her own husband.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In the book Courting Trouble, it picks up where Seducing a Stranger left off with Honoria bleeding from the shot that her husband took. Carlton saves Prudence by showing why his nickname is Deadeye. But when Honoria sees Titus again, what will happen now? Will she reveal what her father made her do all those years ago? Read this one to find out!

Recommendation?

Courting Trouble is on Kindle Unlimited. Since this one picked up right where the last one left off, I thought I had to keep reading. Plus, an excerpt was included with Seducing a Stranger so I kept right on reading. Yet, after reading both, I went back to Victorian Rebels #1, before continuing with this series. Trust me, even though they aren’t on Kindle Unlimited, it’s worth it to read them first before this one.

My plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. Last year, I read 150 books. We’ll see how I do this year.
