Creation in Death by J. D. Robb

Next up in my reread of the In Death series was Creation in Death. I honestly didn’t remember too much about this one. It’s good, but there wasn’t anything that had stuck out in my mind to help me remember it.

After learning about the series for the first time back in 2001, I promptly read them all. At least, I read all of those books that had been released. But somewhere along the line, I stopped reading the current ones so I needed to go back and read the series again. That’s why I’m re-reading these. As I finally reread my least favorite, now I can move forward.

Nine years ago, Dallas was a detective working with Feeney, when the killer dubbed the Groom appeared on the scene. He killed four women and just stopped. The killer went on to kill others in other locales, but now he’s returned to New York City.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In Creation in Death, Eve forms a task force to find the killer after the first body shows up in the park. Feeney gets brought back in as well as Morris and Mira. Mira, in particular, thinks that the killer is going to target Eve. Will they be able to find the killer and save any of the women? Read it and find out!

Creation In Death is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited. This story is #25 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. While it’s a good story, this one is mainly focused on the capture of the killer. There are not many interplays between the characters and not as much relationship-building as we’ve gotten in other books in the series. But you should definitely read it.
