After finishing The Bachelor, I had to read a book that I had found on Kindle Unlimited: Dangerous Magic. This is a Pride and Prejudice variation that includes magic.
In this variation, the Royal Mages test Elizabeth’s magic as she grows up. Since she’s not of higher social class standing, they allow her to stay at home, rather than being sent to an academy. Yet, that all changes.
Mr. Darcy is a Janus mage. He works in tandem with another mage on wards. But his Janus twin is killed in battle against the French. The Royal Mage Society searches for a replacement as Mr. Darcy is the only Janus Mage for wards.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Dangerous Magic, Elizabeth returns home to find Royal Mages there, ready to take her to London. Due to the nature of the Janus Mage twins’ work, they require her to marry Mr. Darcy and serve as his twin. This was a great shock to Elizabeth, who always hoped to marry for love.

If you like a good magical story, this one is for you. Monica Fairview published this one just this month. Yet, there will be more to this story. I can’t wait to read it. This one is on Kindle Unlimited.
