As a book deal, I got the first book of three different series by Christine Pope. Since I had read her before, I knew I would like it. I didn’t realize that Darkangel was connected to Storm Born when I started it.
Angela McAllister is the future prima for the McAllister clan. She is expected to bond with her consort during her 21st year. As a result, she’s been meeting so many witches to see if they are her consort. How can she tell? She has to kiss them.
The Wilcoxes have been a rival clan for years. Damon, the primus, is determined to get Angela and her power for himself. It’s going down to the wire for her to find her consort.

In Darkangel, Angela meets many men, hoping to find her consort. But what happens when it looks like her time is running out without finding him? Will she choose another? What will happen? Read it and see.
Recommendation?
This book is not part of Kindle Unlimited, but it is free (at least at the moment). If you like witches, supernatural powers, etc, this is a book you should check out. It has a very good story and plotline. And yes, there are more books in this series and this one leads to the Witches of Wheeler Park series.
