I’m so not sure how I found Deadly Home, but it’s a cute cozy mystery. It’s the first in the Finding Home series.

Emily Bennett is a former British investigative journalist, who decides to settle down in the United States. She now writes murder mysteries so she decides to try to live a normal life.

Alexander Lewis is a U.S. Marine, who was presumed dead. After he “died”, his parents both died in less than two weeks. His aunt sells his parents’ house to Emily.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Deadly Home, a motion sensor alarm wakes Emily at two am. Alexander comes into the house. Talk about a meet-cute. Not so much when she points a gun at him. Alexander has amnesia. Are the deaths of his parents natural or were they helped along?
Recommendation?
This cozy mystery series (of which there are 7 books) is available on Kindle Unlimited. While I thought this was a good book, I’m not rushing to read the next one. I will return to the series eventually. I did enjoy the romance between Emily and Alexander.
