As soon as I finished Miles and Emery’s story, I immediately downloaded Deflecting the Duke. I mean, I had to. Alexa Aston sucked me into her world so completely.
At the age of ten, five boys are banished from their homes, sent to live at Turner Academy. All five are the younger sons of dukes.
Deflecting the Duke is the story of Wyatt Stanton. When Wyatt was ten, he was accused of starting a fire in the stables and allowing over two dozen horses to be trapped inside. Much like Miles, it was the fault of his older brother. Thus, off he went to school away from his family. Again, like Miles, Wyatt joined the Army after completing school. Yet, several years later, when his older brother dies, Wyatt inherits the dukedom.
Wyatt attends the Season and discovers Meadow, the widowed Lady Selfridge. While Meadow had been married, she remained a virgin as her husband simply collected her like he collected other pretty things. This time around, Meadow determines that she will make her own choice. Her husband must like children and want them like she does.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In the book Deflecting the Duke, Wyatt learns that Meadow demands courting if he really wants her as his duchess. Will he be up to the challenge? Read and find out!
This one is on Kindle Unlimited. All of these are so good. Miles and Emery are present in this one. I highly recommend these if you are a fan of historical romances.

My plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. I finally made it to the books I read in November!
