Dubious About the Duke by Alexa Aston

Time to return to the series The Second Sons of London. I love historical romances so I decided that it was time to revisit the series. Next up is Dubious About the Duke. It’s time for Percy’s cousin, Win.

A quote from Dubious About the Duke by Alexa Aston

Colonel Winston Cutler is the younger son of the Duke of Woodmont. He came back shortly after Percy because Win’s brother Terrance died in a fire. Terrance was eight years older than Win. So they didn’t have a close relationship.

Miss Seraphina (Sera) Nicholls is one of twin sisters who spent the last several years in Canada with their father. Their mother stayed in England to care for her father who was ill. Sera misses her mother so she stays in Canada when Minta, her twin, sets sail to return to England when her mother arrives in Canada. But Sera comes to England not long after Minta.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In the book Dubious About the Duke, when Sera arrives in England, Minta, Percy, their aunt and uncle, and Win are at the port. When they are in the carriage together, Sera is at first somewhat shy, but quickly warms to Win. But she knows that she wouldn’t be a good duchess. Win discovers that his brother left two children with their mother and he is determined to take care of the boys. How will Sera fit in with the boys? Read and find out!

Recommendation?

This one is on Kindle Unlimited. I can’t wait to read the ones added to the series since I read them last year. If you’re a fan of the she’s shy and he falls first trope, then you’re going to want to read this one! I highly recommend these if you are a fan of historical romances.
