Fantasy in Death is the 30th book in the In Death series. I’m really getting to the books that I’ve only read once and don’t really remember. This one is one that I remembered bits and pieces and I know I read it, but no idea who did it or how it was done.
After learning about the series for the first time back in 2001, I promptly read them all. At least, I read all of those books that had been released. But somewhere along the line, I stopped reading the current ones so I needed to go back and read the series again. That’s why I’m re-reading these.
Bart Minnock is a serious gamer. He, along with three friends, built the U-Play company, which creates video games, both holo and VR. But he brings home a copy of their secret project to work on as he feels they are close to having it ready.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Fantasy in Death, dispatch sends Eve to Bart’s home when his body is found the next morning by his girlfriend. Now Eve has to solve the locked door mystery of how he died in a holo room that was locked. Will she find the killer? Read it and find out!

Fantasy In Death is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited. This book is #30 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. This one fascinates me because my son plans on going into game design and business so it’s right up his alley. But I certainly hope he doesn’t become Bart!
