I found Fated Mates by Alicia Montgomery through a Facebook ad. I do like shifter books. If you add fated mates, it made this book a must-read for me.
Alynna Chase is a private investigator. She tails a mark to a club called Blood Moon. While there waiting for the man to leave with his side piece, Alynna meets Alex, who smells incredible to her.
Alex Westbrooke is a Lycan from Chicago, who transferred to New York to work security for the Alpha of the clan in New York City. He meets Alynna at Blood Moon and wants to know where she’s from.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Fated Mates, Alynna only knew her mother so she has no idea that she is a wolf shifter. When she meets Alex, it triggers her wolf to shift. But there is so much about the Lycan world that she does not know. What is her place in the Lycan world and how will Alex fit into things?
Recommendation?
If you enjoy shifter books where there are fated mates, you will enjoy this book. This one sets up the next book well. It is a continuation of the overall arc- someone is trying to hurt Alynna. But the next book focuses on another couple. Yes, I will be reading that one soon. This one is on Kindle Unlimited.
