I’m not sure how I found Firefighter Dragon by Zoe Chant. It could have been a Facebook ad. I’ve been getting a lot of those, but however I found it, I am glad that I did.
Dai Drake is a dragon shifter, who works as a firefighter in Brighton, England. There, he and his fellow shifters hide a secret society of supernatural creatures.
Virginia Jones is an archaeologist, trying to protect a site of major historical interest. She believes that Brithelm, an Anglo-Saxon warrior’s grave is in the hills around Brighton. However, Bertram, a fellow archaeologist, wants to claim the treasure for his own, especially as he’s a dragon.
In Firefighter Dragon, Bertram shifts to dragon form to claim the treasure that Virginia found on Bertram’s family’s land. He traps her in a barn and sets it on fire. Virginia calls emergency, leading Dai to come to the rescue. When Dai looks Virginia in the eyes, he knows that she’s his fated mate. But Bertram as a dragon scared her so how will she feel, when she discovers that Dai is also a dragon?
Recommendation?
If you’re a fan of fantasy stories and love shifter stories, then you need to read this one. This is the start of a series and best part- each one is a different kind of shifter. This is on Kindle Unlimited.
