While I wanted to continue with the Dukes Done Wrong series, I had to clear some books off my Kindle Unlimited first. Fitzwilliam Darcy Man of Fortune had caught my eye, because there are pirates in a Pride and Prejudice variation!
This variation starts when Darcy is negotiating with Wickham to get him to marry Lydia. But as Darcy leaves the pub, he’s kidnapped by some pirates. It’s a case of mistaken identity.
When Darcy fails to arrive at the church the next day, Wickham refuses to marry Lydia. Colonel Fitzwilliam is worried about his cousin. What has happened to Darcy? Well, he awakens to find himself aboard a boat with an infamous lady pirate at the helm.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Fitzwilliam Darcy, Man of Fortune, Mr. Darcy discovers that he has a twin brother. His twin was kidnapped by a nurse and abandoned. The twin ended up a pirate, which is why the pirates mistook Fitzwilliam as the pirate brother. But the lady pirate begs Darcy to help her. What happens when she also kidnaps Elizabeth? Read and find out if they survive!
Fitzwilliam Darcy, Man of Fortune is an unusual variation of Pride and Prejudice. Darcy and Elizabeth have several close calls in this one. It is on Kindle Unlimited.

My plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. Yes, I read a lot. But I enjoy reading and want to help you find books to read that you would enjoy.
