Like Two for Interference, it was either in Pippa Grant’s Facebook group or Lucy Score’s that I discovered Flirt by Adriana Locke. Someone said that the book had been taken down by Amazon for some reason so we were trying to get the views, etc, back up again. When I read the blurb, I knew I had to read it.

Brooke Bailey is in desperate need of a date, so much so that she writes up an ad to post on Social for someone that she can have a situation-ship with. Someone who basically serves as a fake boyfriend. Why does she need this? Well, she has a birthday party for her grandmother to attend. Her ex-husband will be there with her aunt. Yes, I said aunt.

Moss Carimichael works for Laguna Homes, his family’s company. He’s the superintendent on Brooke’s renovation team. But when he sees Brooke’s ad on Social, well, he’s willing to help her out.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Flirt, Brooke and Moss work together so of course they don’t want to start anything. Neither knows a lot about the other, that is, until they start being each other’s fake dates. But will they be able to keep it fake?
Recommendation?
This was my first Adriana Locke book, but it won’t be my last. This was the first in a series and book two is already out! This one is on Kindle Unlimited, along with the second one. Check it out!

My plan for 2022 is to write three blog posts a week- one about a fantasy book, one about a mystery book, and one about a romance book (with some posts about series thrown in). This one is a romance so if you’re a romance lover, then you’ll want to check it out!
