Mystery

Glory in Death by J.D. Robb

After I read Naked in Death again, I continued the story with Glory in Death, the second book in the series. This cast of characters just drew me in and made me want to read more. Reading and re-reading this series never gets old.

After learning about the series the first time, I promptly read them all. At least, I read all of those books that were already released back in 2001. But somewhere along the line, I stopped reading the current ones so I need to go back and read the series again. That’s why I’m reading.

Lieutenant Eve Dallas is a New York City homicide detective in 2058 (or thereabouts). This time, the murders start with a highly prominent district attorney. It seems the killer doesn’t like women in positions of authority (or is it that really?)

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In Glory in Death, Eve must figure out who is killing beautiful, powerful women. As usual with mysteries, there are some red herrings and some missteps, but Eve has to get the job done, right? Eve is now dating Roarke, much to her own confusion. She doesn’t understand how they fit, but they do. Want to learn more? Read it and find out!

Recommendation?

This is the second of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. The newest book in this 53 book series- Forgotten in Death- released recently. That’s part of the reason I decided to start the series anew.

My plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. I’m so far behind on my blog posts!
