Golden in Death by J. D. Robb

Golden in Death is the 50th book in the In Death series. I’m not sure how J.D. keeps coming up with new cases, but I’ll keep reading them! I’m slowly catching up!

A quote from Golden in Death by JD Robb

Dr. Kent Abner is a pediatrician who is getting ready to go for a run when he receives a package. The return address says All That Glitters. When he opens it, there’s a golden egg inside. He is not sure where the package came from but opens the egg. After inhaling the contents, Dr. Abner is dead.

Eve and Peabody are called to the scene. Everyone loved Dr. Abner. He volunteered at Louise’s clinic so Louise knew him and his husband well. Nobody can imagine why anyone would want to hurt Dr. Abner.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In Golden in Death, Eve and Peabody must figure out who killed Dr. Abner. As usual, it might take finding a second body to make the connection.

Golden In Death is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited (I wish!). This story is #50 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. Eve figures this one out about two-thirds of the way through and it is just about getting the evidence to prove it.
