I was very fortunate to get an Advanced Reader’s Copy (ARC) of Nora Roberts’s new book, Identity, which comes out in May. It’s one of her stand-alones and I traditionally love those.
Morgan Albright is chasing her dream of owning her own bar. She works two jobs: a day job as an office manager and a night one as a bartender. Morgan shares her home with her best friend, Nina.
Miles Jameson, along with his grandparents, parents, and siblings, own the local resort in Westridge, Vermont. Westridge is where Morgan’s grandmother and mother live and work. When Morgan moves in with her family, she starts working at the resort and running into Miles.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Identity, a villain steals Morgan’s identity, causing her to lose everything. This drives her to move to Vermont with her family. Will she be able to escape the villain or will he come after her once more?
Recommendation?
This book releases on May 23rd. If you like Nora Roberts books, especially her standalones of recent years, you’ll want to read this one. I do wish that I could learn more about Nell (Miles’s sister)’s story, but I know that Nora has said in the past that she won’t return to the world of her standalones once the book is written.
