Like with The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren, In a Holidaze was a deal mentioned in the BookGorilla daily email. As it was getting closer to Christmas, I had to get it. I did like The Unhoneymooners after all.
Maelyn Jones arrives at the cabin that she and her family (yes, including her divorced parents) have gone to every year she was born to celebrate Christmas. She doesn’t know that it’s going to be the last Christmas she’ll spend there. Or will it?
Andrew Hollis is the older of the two Hollis brothers and the object of Mae’s crush since she was thirteen. However, after imbibing eggnog on Christmas, she made out with Theo, the younger of the two brothers.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In In a Holidaze, after finding out that the Hollis’s plan to sell the cabin that the bunch celebrate Christmas and Fourth of July at each year, Mae is on the way back to the airport when she’s in a car crash. All of a sudden, she’s on the flight bound for Utah and everything is happening over again.
Is she stuck in a time loop? Can she fix whatever she’s meant to fix in time? Read it and find out!
Unlike The Unhoneymooners where it took me some time to get into it, I was all in on this one right from the first. I had to find out if Mae could fix it. If you like a sprinkle of magic in your stories, then you should check this one out.
