I don’t remember how I found the Resurrecting Magic series by Keary Taylor. I just know that once I read the first one, Rise of the Mage, I had to read the rest. It was almost like there was a compulsion spell put on me. I couldn’t stop reading. Next up was The Keeper of the Lost.

Margot Bell is a freshman at Alderidge University. But unlike most freshman, Margot knows the campus very well as both of her parents are professors. So you could say that Margot grew up on the campus. When she met Nathaniel at the beginning of the fall semester, Margot didn’t know about her heritage, but they quickly figured out that both of them are mages.

Nathaniel Nightingale is the first one to discover the book that has been glamoured. Even though the Society Boys torture him, Nathaniel refuses to fight back, which causes some tension between Margot and Nathaniel. Margot saved Nathaniel at the end of the fall semester. She changed the memories of the Society Boys or so she thought.

In Keeper of the Lost, Borden Stewart shows up and wants to learn. It seems that he, too, is a mage. Who else will they discover are mages? What happens during the spring semester? Read it and find out!

My plan for 2022 is to write three blog posts a week- one about a fantasy book, one about a mystery book, and one about a romance book (with some posts about series thrown in). This one is a fantasy so if you’re a fantasy lover, then you’ll want to check it out!
