I had to go back to read more about Ace and her gargoyles. The next up was Kissed by Night. This one continued right on from the last one.

Acelina Bisset is a Homicide detective in Philadelphia. She has a reputation for handling the weird and kooky homicides. She loves to debunk the supernatural aspects. But she realizes that the supernatural is now part of her world. Ace learns more and more about her powers each day.

In the first book, Ace shares her bed with Thomas, Gilbert and Hasan (not all at the same time), but Jacques is holding back. Although Ace does dream about Jacques, it hasn’t happened yet.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Kissed by Night, someone stalks witches and murders them. When Ace arrives at the scene of the crimes, the symbols are all confusing and mixed up. It’s like someone is just putting up symbols without knowing what any of them mean. But someone is also trying to get Ace’s attention. Want to know more? Read it!
Recommendation?
This book is a reverse harem. If you’re not sure what that is, just understand that Ace gets down and dirty with all four guys at some point (not all at once). She isn’t with all four in this book unless you count her sexy dreams of one. If you’re looking for steamy, you’ve found the right book. Did I mention there are twins in this one? These are on Kindle Unlimited as a set or as separate books.

My plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. Last year, I read 150 books. We’ll see how I do this year.
