I’ve been dying to read this one for a while now, almost since it was announced. Legacy was just released on May 25th. I love Nora’s stand alone books.
Adrian Rizzo meets her father for the first time when he storms into her mother’s home. He tries to kill Adrian, but winds up dead himself. Adrian’s mother, Lina, takes her to stay with her grandparents for the rest of that summer in Traveler’s Creek, Maryland. There she makes friends, including her best friend, Maya.
Lina is a health and fitness guru, who started Yoga Baby when Adrian was a baby. Having watched her mother find success, Adrian determines to find success on her own. Thus, she befriends the nerds in the private school her mother forces her to attend. She makes deals with each of three to help her launch her own exercise videos. A truly enterprising young woman.

In Legacy, the story follows Adrian through different facets of her life. From her first and last meeting with her father to living in New York to moving to Traveler’s Creek, the book tells it all. Woven throughout are poems that are written in block print and threaten Adrian. But who is the poet and why are they targeting Adrian? Read it and see!
Recommendation?
I pre-ordered this one, like I do most of Nora Roberts’ books. There is suspense, so if you like romantic suspense, this one is for you!
