Meant for the Marquess by Alexa Aston

Time to return to the series The Second Sons of London and finish it up. I love historical romances so I decided that it was time to revisit the series. Meant for the Marquess is the last book in the series.

A quote from Meant for the Marquess by Alexa Aston

Lady Julia Birmingham loses her father right before she was to make her come out to the Ton. As a result, her half-brother kicks her and her mother out as soon as her father is buried. But her mother doesn’t even make it out of the estate before dying. Julia goes to London and into service.

A rogue soldier attacks Major Devin Hunt because Devin turned him in for failing to do his duty and trying to sell the army rations on the black market. Devin loses two fingers on his right hand, making it so that he can no longer write.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In the book Meant for the Marquess, Julia is now the governess to the two nephews of the Duke of Woodmont (his story is Dubious about the Duke). Devin comes home and looks up Win, the duke because they are good friends. Devin falls for Julia fairly quickly. But will she want to have anything to do with him when he only has eight fingers? Read and find out!
