I discovered that I hadn’t read all of Pippa Grant’s books like I thought I had. You see, she first wrote under the penname Jamie Farrell. So I had to read all of those books, right? After Sugared is Merried, which is the fifth of the Misfit Brides books.

Max Gregory grew up in Bliss as his family owns the most famous jewelry shop on the Aisle. The family created the most cursed diamond ring in history, but they still have lots of business in Bliss.
Merry Silver, on the other hand, grew up moving often. Her father is a notorious jewel thief, which caused them to move. She’s been trying to strike out on her own for so long, but her father has always been able to find her.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Merried, Merry is in Bliss to marry off her mother again. Yet, she must avoid Max, her ex boyfriend. Her father wanted to steal the cursed diamond ring so Merry left Max to protect him. Of course she didn’t tell him that. So what happens when they run into each other once more? Read the book to find out!
Recommendation?
As with each of Pippa Grant’s books (even though she’s writing as Jamie Farrell), Merried should only be read while not drinking (because you will spit out your drink) and definitely not in a library as you will bust out laughing. Don’t get in trouble with the librarians! If you like a sitcom, but in book form, this is the perfect book for you. Trust me, all of us need a little light hearted fun right now and this delivers. This one is on Kindle Unlimited and you should run to read it!
