After reading Connor and Angela’s story, I went back to Jake and Addie in the Witches of Wheeler Park series. Mind Games is about Jeremy, Jake’s brother. But I had to read it to get to the next story about Jake and Addie.
Sloane Kennedy is constantly on the go. She uses her ability to read minds to win at casinos, but she knows not to outstay her welcome there. It also helps that she regularly wears disguises so no one knows what she truly looks like.
Jeremy Wilcox is the younger brother of Jake. His gift is with computers. He is the one who set up the computers to find the potential witches and warlocks that might not have grown up in a clan.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Mind Games, Jeremy is asked to take a look at a neighboring casino by a friend. Not sure what he would find, he digs into it. That is how Jeremy finds Sloane. But her history, which she is unaware of, might come back to haunt her. What will happen? Read it and see.
Recommendation?
This book is not part of Kindle Unlimited, but it’s well worth the cost. If you like witches, supernatural powers, etc, this is a book you should check out. It has a very good story and plotline. And yes, there are more books in this series, but I haven’t read past this one as of yet.
