Missing in Death by J. D. Robb

Missing in Death is the next story in the In Death series. It’s a novella included in the anthology- The Lost. I’m really getting to the books and stories that I’ve only read once and don’t really remember. This one is one that I remembered what and how it happened, but not who or why.

After learning about the series for the first time back in 2001, I promptly read them all. At least, I read all of those books that had been released. But somewhere along the line, I stopped reading the current ones so I needed to go back and read the series again. That’s why I’m re-reading these. Plus, I wanted to share these with you all.

A quote from Missing in Death by JD Robb

A tourist family is on board the renamed Staten Island Ferry (it’s named the Hillary Rodham Clinton in the book) when the mom and the youngest son decide to head to the concessions to get something to drink. On the way, the son tells his mom that he needs to use the restroom. He goes into the men’s, while she goes into the ladies, which has an Out-of-Order sign on it.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In Missing in Death, Eve and Peabody are called to the ferry as the mom is missing and there is a lot of blood in the women’s restroom. When the mom shows back up without remembering anything, will Eve be able to figure out what happened? Read it and find out!

Recommendation?

Missing In Death is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited. This book is #29.5 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. This one involves the HSO, which brings back memories for both Eve and Roarke. It also involves someone from Summerset’s past.
