After reading Primrose & Poison, I decided to stay in Raven Bay with the next in the series- Murder & Marigold. It takes place not too long after Primrose & Poison.
Astrid Atwood starts dating her high school crush, Evan. When he invites her to join the police boat for the Pirate Parade, her mother quickly shuts that down. As witches, they must maintain the safety of the waters.
Hearing stories about how people have been hurt and even lost at the bottom of the bay, Astrid gets an ominous feeling about it all. Astrid’s friend Rita’s dad talks nonstop about diving for treasure. The day of the parade, his unmanned boat crashes into the police boat.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Murder & Marigold, Astrid helps out the investigation into Rita (and Owen from the library)’s dad’s disappearance by working the toll-free tip phone line. Suddenly there are two mysteries afoot. Will Astrid be able to solve them both? Read it and see!

Murder & Marigold is available on Kindle Unlimited. It’s the second in the Raven Bay Mysteries series. If you like cozy mysteries and especially cozy mysteries with witchcraft, you’ll want to check this one out.
