New York to Dallas is the 33rd book in the In Death series. I had read this one before and I sort of remembered some of the details, but not many. I think this was the last one that I read when I was reading the current ones. I’m fairly sure that I didn’t read the next book.
After learning about the series for the first time back in 2001, I promptly read them all. At least, I read all of those books that had been released. But somewhere along the line, I stopped reading the current ones so I needed to go back and read the series again. That’s why I’m re-reading these.
This one tells of Eve’s first big collar- Isaac McQueen. Isaac escapes from prison and sends a message to Eve, letting her know that he’s back. He is ready for round two.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In New York to Dallas, Isaac lures Eve to Dallas by taking one of his previous victims. He always works with an older partner. What happens when Eve discovers that she was a personal connection to the current partner? Read it and find out!

New York to Dallas is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited. This book is #33 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. This one is so revealing of what Eve was like when she was just out of the academy. Plus, you can see how she has had an impact on lives as one of the victims that Eve saves is now a Detective in the SVU unit in Dallas.
