Queen Takes King by Joely Sue Burkhart

In one of the Facebook groups I’m in, someone recommended Queen Takes Knights and the rest of the series. After finishing the first one, I immediately downloaded Queen Takes King.

Shara Dalton knows now that she is a vampire queen. Her knights (also called her Blood) showed up in the first book, but more join them in this book.

Three more males come when called to be Shara’s Blood. One is a Templar knight, one was an assassin for a previous court, and one is a dead Druid, although how he’s really a Blood, you’ll have to read to find out.

In Queen Takes King, in addition to taking three new men as Blood, Shara dreams of a monster. Using the money from the Isador legacy, Shara works on creating a secure nest while trying to decide if she should go after this monster king. What happens when she travels to find the king?

Recommendation?

If you’re a fan of vampires and reverse harems (ahem there are now six guys with her in this book), you’ll want to check this one out. It is on Kindle Unlimited. The third book will be read soon. If you’re not a fan of blood play, you’ll want to skip this one.

I write three blog posts a week- one about a fantasy book, one about a mystery book, and one about a romance book (with some posts about series thrown in). This one is a fantasy so if you’re a fantasy lover, then you’ll want to check it out!
