Queen Takes Knights by Joely Sue Burkhart

In one of the Facebook groups I’m in, someone recommended Queen Takes Knights and the rest of the series. I was in the mood for a vampire book so I jumped in.

Shara Dalton is on the run. She knows that monsters do exist and does everything she can to avoid them. Shara refuses to work after dark because that is when the monsters come out. They’ve already killed her parents.

Alrik and Daire are Aima vampires. They come to save Shara as the monsters attack and surround her. They call her their queen.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)

In Queen Takes Knights, Shara learns that she is a descendant of Isis. She is a vampire queen. As a queen, she gains power from drinking blood from her Blood (the guys). The guys serve as her protectors and are bound to her after drinking from her and her from them. But will they be able to protect her from the monsters?

If you’re a fan of vampires and reverse harems (although there are only two guys in this book), you’ll want to check this one out. It is on Kindle Unlimited and the second book is already sitting on my Kindle for me to read. If you’re not a fan of blood play, you’ll want to skip this one.
