The next in the series is Rescued by an Earl. Once I found it on my Kindle, then I knew how I had heard of Rose Pearson. I had read this one last year without realizing that it was part of a series! I definitely needed to read this one again.

Lady Jacintha is the third daughter of the Duke of Westbrook. Years ago, she had a moment in the garden with their neighbor and childhood friend, Henry Musgrave. But then he went away and they haven’t seen each other since.

Henry Musgrave is a changed man. He now has added being a rake to his repertoire. When Jacintha runs into him again, she quickly sees the changes and doesn’t hesitate to scold him for them. Yet, she meets Alexander Slate and decides that maybe a marriage without love is best.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In the book Rescued by an Earl, Jacintha is next in line to marry. She loves Henry, but he changed so much that he’s hardly recognizable. Alexander Slate catches Jacintha’s eye. He asks to court her. Jacintha tries to put him off.
Henry sees how Jacintha views him and it makes him wake up to the changes. He determines to make changes back to the man he used to be. But will Jacintha wait for him or will she accept Alexander Slate? Read this one to find out!
Recommendation?
Rescued by an Earl is on Kindle Unlimited. If you like historical romances, it’s worth reading. This is a very clean romance. Don’t go in expecting hot sexy times because this isn’t one of those. Yet, this one is action packed.

And in case you hadn’t figured it out, my plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. Last year, I read 150 books. We’ll see how I do this year.
