I love Pride & Prejudice variations and I think Reversed Fortune was one that Amazon recommended to me. Since I love others by Sydney Salier, I had to try this one out. Boy, am I glad I did!

This variation ventures forth much like canon. Mr. Bingley arrives at Netherfield with his sisters and friend, Mr. Darcy in tow. However, Georgiana and Lady Anne Darcy are also with them. Another change in who is alive and dead from canon is that Sir Lewis de Bourgh is alive and Lady Catherine is dead.
When William Collins arrives at Longbourn, he is nothing like canon. He talks with Mr. Bennet, hoping that he’ll find a wife from his cousins, but they must both wish it. After a short time, Mr. Collins discovers that Elizabeth is the cousin that could win his heart.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Reversed Fortune, whose fortune is reversed? What has happened? Will Elizabeth wed Mr. Collins? Lieutenant Wickham does NOT make an appearance in this one.
Recommendation?
While there are some inconsistencies with the story (Lady Anne, knowing Mrs. Gardiner and then later not knowing her), this one is worth the read simply because it’s a premise I’ve never seen explored before. Plus, it’s on Kindle Unlimited so why not?
