In case you hadn’t figured it out yet, I love Nora Roberts so much that I’ve been to her bookstore so many times I can’t count that high anymore. What does that have to do with Riley Thorn? Well, Turn the Page (Nora’s store) shared a picture of Lucy Score bringing in signed copies of the second Riley Thorn book. So I had to read the first- Riley Thorn and the Dead Guy Next Door.
Riley Thorn works hard for a living. Although she’s divorced, she’s the one paying support to her cretin of an ex husband. Riley lives in a mansion with lots of elderly people.
Nick Santiago is a private investigator. He also spends time serving warrants and subpoenas. Nick is a former police detective, but he left the force to strike out on his own.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Riley Thorn and the Dead Guy Next Door, Riley has a premonition that her neighbor (who has a nasty habit of leaving his underwear in the bathroom they share) is going to be killed. While she normally tries to ignore her powers and live a normal life, this time she decides she needs to try to prevent it.
Nick has been trying to find Riley’s neighbor and ends up knocking on Riley’s door. So why does Riley have a flash of her in bed with Nick? Well, you need to read the book!
Riley Thorn and the Dead Guy Next Door is the first book in the Riley Thorn series. This one is on Kindle Unlimited and you should run to read it!

My plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. I’m now on the books I read in October.
