Once I finished Cross Her Heart, I immediately jumped right into See Her Die. It is the second book in the Bree Taggert series.
After solving her sister’s murder, Bree decides to stay in Grey’s Hollow as the sheriff. Fortunately, her former partner moves in with her and Bree’s wards as Bree became the guardian of her sister’s kids. Bree gets closer to former deputy Matt Flynn.
As sheriff, Bree responds to a call about a shooting in a campground. Yet, when she arrives, there is no body to be found. While the others dismiss the call as a prank, Bree believes the homeless girl. She calls on Matt to bring his K-9 to investigate.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In See Her Die, Bree and Matt find a body, but it’s not the witness’s friend. The body is a missing university student. When more bodies turn up and more students go missing, Bree and Matt have to figure out what is going on.
Recommendation?
See Her Die is available on Kindle Unlimited. It’s the second in the Bree Taggert series. While this does connect to the Morgan Dane series, you don’t have to read that series first. If you’re a fan of mysteries and thrillers, you want to read this one!
