I don’t remember how I found the Resurrecting Magic series by Keary Taylor. I just know that once I read the first one, Rise of the Mage, I had to read the rest. It was almost like there was a compulsion spell put on me. I couldn’t stop reading. Next up was Shadow of the Locked.

Margot and Borden were expelled from Alderidge University. After school is out, they, along with Margot’s father, Nathaniel, and Mary Beth travel to Scotland to see if they can discover more about what happened in the past with mages.

Nathaniel and Margot are no longer together, but they are trying to remain friends. Nathaniel didn’t like how Margot handled the confrontation with the Society Boys and together they couldn’t see a way past their differences.

In Shadow of the Locked, Olin pops out of a book. It seems that he, too, is a mage. But what was he doing inside a book? What had happened in the past to get him there? Read it and find out!

My plan for 2022 is to write three blog posts a week- one about a fantasy book, one about a mystery book, and one about a romance book (with some posts about series thrown in). This one is a fantasy so if you’re a fantasy lover, then you’ll want to check it out!
