I do believe that I found Shift by Karina Espinosa through a Facebook ad. After all, they are becoming exceptionally clever and giving me a HUGE TBR list.
Mackenzie Grey is not only an undergraduate student, an intern at One Police Plaza, and a bouncer at a local bar. She’s also a wolf shifter. But she didn’t discover that she shifted until she left home for college. Fortunately, her roommate helps her keep her wolf from hurting anyone.
Mackenzie is unaware of anyone else being a wolf shifter until she runs into them. They are Sebastian and Jonah- the Alpha and Beta of the Brooklyn Pack. Most wolf shifters are part of a pack, but women are always Lunas, which are essentially slaves. Mackenzie refuses to join for this reason.
In Shift, members of different magical factions (Fae, vampires, and shifters) have gone missing. Who or what is taking them? Will Mackenzie be able to figure it out?
Recommendation?
If you like strong female characters, then you’ll want to read this one. Don’t go in expecting a romance with this one. There are multiple romantic interests for Mackenzie, but there’s no resolution in this one.
