I can’t remember exactly how I found Sin & Chocolate. I think it might have been an Amazon ad on my Kindle. But after having read the Demon Days, Vampire Nights series by this same author, I wanted to read this.

In this world, magicals have been revealed to the world so now most places have a magical section and a non-magical section of town. Then there’s the no man’s land- the dual-society zones. Alexis Price has been flying under the radar of most magicals by living in this no man’s land for so long. She’s the foster mom of two teenagers. Well, maybe she’s more like the foster sister. Mordecai is a wolf shifter without a pack. Daisy is a nonmagical human, but never let it be said that she’s ordinary.

Demigod Kieran is of the Poseidon bloodline. His father Demigod Valens rules magical San Francisco. Kieran wants to take out his father in revenge for what his father did to his mother. But what happens when he meets Alexis?

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Sin & Chocolate, Kieran starts to stalk Alexis. She’s a puzzle to him, which makes him try to figure her out even more. All of her paperwork says she’s a low level magical, but Kieran can feel that her magic is much more powerful than that. Let the battle of the wills begin. Who will win? Read it and find out.
Recommendation?
This book is on Kindle Unlimited. If you like supernatural powers, Greek gods, etc, this is a book you should check out. There are more books in this series and yes, I had to keep reading!

My plan for 2021 was to write a blog post for each book I read. I’m still working on getting those written.
