After finishing Destiny with a Duke, I had to go back to Kieran and Alexis in Sin & Lightning. I mean I couldn’t NOT find out what happens next!

In this series, magicals have been revealed to the world, but there hasn’t been a Spirit Walker amongst the magicals in some time. Alexis has learned that she is a Spirit Walker. In fact, being a Spirit Walker is what helped her release Kieran’s mom’s selkie spirit and help Kieran take down his father. Yet, now that Kieran took down his dad, he’s spending time ruling over magical San Francisco.

In the last book, Alexis continued training with her magic. Since Kieran is acting as the resident Demigod for San Francisco, he made arrangements with a fellow Demigod to help Alexis with training. However, that trainer didn’t help her at all. Instead she found her own trainer in the spirit world. But then two of the Hades demigods made a play to try to get Alexis, which only ended up hurting her kids and one of the Six. At the end of Sin & Spirit, Harding, the spirit who had been training Alexis, made the suggestion that Kieran add more magicals to his group to protect Alexis.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Sin & Lightning, Kieran’s team has made a list of magicals for Kieran to go after to join his team. First up is Jerry, a giant who can control earth, like rocks and all. But really Alexis is the one who brings all of them around to the team because the Demigods of Hades aren’t relenting. Read it to find out what happens when Kieran, Alexis, and company travel to visit Demigod Lydia.
Recommendation?
This book is on Kindle Unlimited. If you like supernatural powers, Greek gods, etc, this is a book you should check out. There is one more book in this series and yes, I had to keep reading! In fact, I finished the series in less than a week and I’ve reread it twice since.

My plan for 2021 was to write a blog post for each book I read. I’m still working on getting those written.
