After finishing Sin & Chocolate (which I’ve now read three times!), I immediately went on to read Sin & Magic. I mean I couldn’t stop at the end of the first one and not find out what happens next!
In this world, magicals have been revealed to the world so now most places have a magical section and a non-magical section of town. Kieran had Alexis tested in Sin & Chocolate, so now they both are aware that Alexis is a Spirit Walker. She can see and talk to spirits as if they are fully alive in front of her.
Kieran hires Alexis to help find his mother’s selkie skin in the spirit world. Alexis is intrigued because something is preventing spirits from crossing the Line. In fact, it ticks her off. We learn more about Daisy and Mordecai in this one, especially now that Kieran’s Six are training them.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Sin & Magic, Alexis starts working for Kieran. He assigns Bria to train her in her magic, which Bria does as best she can since Alexis’s magic is different than Bria’s. Will they find Kieran’s mom’s skin and be able to send her over the Line? Read it and find out.
Recommendation?
This book is on Kindle Unlimited. If you like supernatural powers, Greek gods, etc, this is a book you should check out. There are more books in this series and yes, I had to keep reading! In fact, I finished the series in less than a week and I’ve reread it since.
