I discovered that I hadn’t read all of Pippa Grant’s books like I thought I had. You see, she first wrote under the penname Jamie Farrell. So I had to read all of those books, right? After Merried is Spiced, which is the sixth of the Misfit Brides books.

Tony Cross is a pizza owner, who has moved to Bliss after his divorce to open his second pizza place. His divorce left him jaded and wary of relationships in general.
Pepper Blue is the sister of CJ from Blissed. She bought half of the bridal shop that Natalie, her sister-in-law, runs so she now lives in Bliss. In fact, Tony lives right next door.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Spiced, Tony delivers pizzas to Pepper’s house during her sister’s bachelorette party. Her grandmother and sisters mistake him for a stripper at first. Luckily Pepper rescues him. But then he must come to Pepper’s rescue when her grandmother moves in so she can find Pepper a boyfriend who won’t leave her. Will Tony rescue Pepper for good or is it just another fake relationship? Read the book to find out!
Recommendation?
As with each of Pippa Grant’s books (even though she’s writing as Jamie Farrell), Spiced should only be read while not drinking (because you will spit out your drink) and definitely not in a library as you will bust out laughing. Don’t get in trouble with the librarians! If you like a sitcom, but in book form, this is the perfect book for you. Trust me, all of us need a little light hearted fun right now and this delivers. This one is on Kindle Unlimited and you should run to read it!
