After Panic Broom, I just kept right on rolling and continued on to Sweep-Stakes. I had borrowed this complete series in one book through Kindle Unlimited. That made it easy to keep right on reading.

Brighton Longfield is now engaged to Remy Skeenbauer. Yes, the feud is ending. But Brighton’s magic at the end of Panic Broom misfired. Now she needs the help of some vampires or it’s endsville for her. Well, she’ll be a vampire at least.

At the beginning of Sweep-Stakes, they go looking for vampires to help Brighton out as she needs vampire blood. Ralph doesn’t help, but fortunately, Annika knows a friendly vampire.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Sweep-Stakes, it’s a race against time to help Brighton so she doesn’t turn into a zombie herself. There are several plot twists and turns through this one. Who is the bad guy in this one? Will Brighton be saved? Well, read it and see!
Recommendation?
This one is available on Kindle Unlimited. Sweep-Stakes is a light, cute, cozy, paranormal mystery. If you love a cozy mystery with magic involved, you’ll like this one. I have to admit that this one wasn’t my favorite of the series. The grammatical mistakes are very in your face with this one.

My plan for 2021 is to write a blog post for each book I read. Last year, I read 150 books. This was number 155 for 2021. I have a lot more to write blog posts about. But yes, I have beaten my amount from last year.
