Taken in Death is the 37.5 story in the In Death series. This novella is part of the Mirror Mirror anthology with four other short stories. Each short story is a fairy tale retelling. Taken in Death is an In Death version of Hansel and Gretel.

Finally, I’m finishing this series, even though yes, she is still writing books. The newest one even was released on Tuesday, BUT I’m determined to catch up!

This is one where we think we know who did it, but there’s a twist! At the start, we see Henry and Gala, twins, being kidnapped after their nanny was murdered.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In Taken in Death, Eve must find Henry and Gala before the evil witch hurts them. Fortunately, Henry and Gala, while children, are not stupid ones. They use some high-tech toys to help Eve find them. Roarke also helps, as usual. Read it and find out.
Recommendation?
Taken In Death is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited (I wish!). This story is #37.5 of J.D. Robb’s In Death series. It’s a good retelling of the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale to fit within the In Death world.
