Many years ago, my aunt recommended that I both read the book and watch the movie The Bone Collector. I loved the movie, but didn’t read the book until 2022. Oh my, was I crazy for not reading the book earlier!

Lincoln Rhyme is a brilliant criminologist, but when an accident leaves him a quadriplegic and only able to move a finger, he wants to give up.

Amelia Sachs is a police detective who discovers a crime scene and determines that it must be preserved. She gets in trouble for preserving it.

Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In The Bone Collector, Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sachs must work together to solve this case. Even though Amelia is trying to transfer out of the detective division, she still works with Lincoln to catch the killer.
Recommendation?
The Bone Collector is NOT available on Kindle Unlimited. I really wanted to read this one because I had seen the movie, but man, I really should have read it sooner. There are some differences from the movie to the book. The book did a fabulous job of showing the forensics and not getting too boring. Trust me, if you like crime procedural TV shows and movies, you’re going to want to read this book.
