I love being able to get an advanced readers copy of Pippa Grant, even if it’s only to torment my friends when I tell them that they are going to love the book. I mean, let’s be honest, has Pippa ever let me down with one of her books? Absolutely not. The Gossip and The Grump, the second in the Three BFFs and a Wedding series, her newest book, didn’t either!
Sabrina Sullivan, best friend of Laney (from The Worst Wedding Date) and Emma (the bride of the non-wedding), feels horrible about not telling Emma about Chandler and Theo. As a result, she’s on a mission to reverse her karma by doing as many good deeds as possible. When she sees a guy who is in desperate need of rescuing from the clingy woman in the bar, she must help, right?
Greyson Cartwright is in Hawaii to ruin a wedding, only to find out the wedding was already ruined. Yep, he was there to ruin Emma and Chandler’s wedding. He’s in a bar having a sample flight of kombucha when this woman starts to hit on him. Fortunately, Sabrina rescues him.
Brief Summary (while trying not to give everything away)
In The Gossip and The Grump, after a one-night stand with Grey in Hawaii where Sabrina ghosted him, how shocked are they both to discover the other when Grey shows up at the cafe that he bought from Chandler? Grey is Sabrina’s boss. Now if she can just figure out how to get the cafe back in her family’s hands.
As with each of Pippa Grant’s books, The Gossip and The Grump should only be read while not drinking (because you will spit out your drink) and definitely not in a library as you will bust out laughing. Don’t get in trouble with the librarians! This book comes out on Thursday, October 5th. I would recommend rereading The Worst Wedding Date before reading this one as you want to remember exactly what happened in Hawaii. This one will be on Kindle Unlimited and you should run to read it!

I write three blog posts a week- one about a fantasy book (published on Thursdays), one about a mystery book (published on Saturdays), and one about a romance book (published on Mondays). This one is a romance so if you’re a romance lover, you’ll want to check it out!
